Hi...a friend of mine has a katana that got the flip broken off of it...she's getting a replacement from sprint, but she really wants the pictures and contacts off of the old phone...alot of the pics are important and irreplaceable, and I want to know if I can use a power cord and the usb cord together to at least access the filesystem. Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!

I know Datapilot does read everything (we just did 2 today for customers).

Why would you need to use the power cord and USB at the same time? The phone will power up without the upper half and a charged battery is all you need.

Call a bell store in advance and ask if a data pilot or "tool to transfer stuff from your phone" she might not get the pictures but she'll definitely get the contacts - your looking at $15.00

I have to use the power cord and data cable because she no longer has the battery for it...when the flip got broken off, the battery fell off and broke...I do have datapilot, so hopefully i can get it to read. Thanks!
