V262 won't turn on - Blinks a black screen for 5 minutes

Just yesterday out of the blue, I noticed my phone was off. It happens sometimes, not a big deal. But when I tried to turn it on, both displays turned on the backlights (basically showing a blank screen) for a split second, then flicked back off. It repeated this every second for about 5 whole minutes. The only way I can stop it is by taking the battery out.

I still have a few months left on my contract so I'm sorta stuck with this phone. Is it beyond hope or is there anything I can do to get it working again?

This is a board level short. Each one we sent to Motorola has come back replaced, so I know that they feel it is cheaper and quicker to replace the phone rather than repair it.

...damnit. I was hoping for better. I might as well just suck it up and get a new phone now.
