Mods to w800 center for w810?

Hello everyone, 2nd post here on HoFo but I've lurked for quite a while.

I had a W810i from Cingular that I had unbranded through davinci but my work (Qwest) offered a great deal on my service so I canceled my Cingy contract and went with them. Well, I've put in my notice that I'm quitting so I'm going back to Cingy (at&t I guess) and have a W810i on the way again.

I just ordered a W800 orange center housing piece, and I've seen a few people reference that they've had to mod the housing a little to get the W810 guts to fit.

I've done many searches, but haven't come up with exactly what, if anything, needs to be modded on the housing.

So could anyone fill me in on what I will need to mod to make this work?
I'd appreciate the help, and especially pics if you've got em!

just swap the w810i black middleplate with the w800i orange middleplate that you ordered. It fits.

ppl from the k750i backplate swap forum said only the k750/w800 backplate fits on the w810i and nothign on the w810i fits on k750/w800 i think u gotta do some modding to the middleplate but culd be done...
