hey all, hoping someone here can help me out...i just tried a search but didnt find an answer to my specific problem. ok, so i recently broke my 9800 (with the version 1 software which i now sorely miss) & got another 9800 under my warranty but of course it had the version 2 software. i figured out that in order to load songs onto it you have to convert MP3s to WMA files. so I did that, but only about 50% of the songs work on my phone now...the other ones wont play, even though they are on the SD card (I can see the files on my PC when i load the sd). now thats problem #1. problem #2 is that i just deleted all the songs off my card & tried to "sync" them with Windows Media Player as was suggested online (possibly on this forum i forget). and now the songs wont show up at all on my phone! i get the same "music player error" that i got when i tried to play MP3s instead of WMA's. oh, & this time the song files can NOT be seen on the sd card when i load it onto the PC, so apparently they're not on the card at all....any thoughts/advice/suggestions please? i realize Verizon is trying to force us all to purchase songs through Get It Now, but there's gotta be a way to load our own songs (at least until the next software comes out!)...
