it is named the TRAX. same specs as cu500v minus the 180 swivel camera

Actually it also supports 2 gig memory card with side load, larger internal and external display, you can read the text from the outside of the flip...

Among other things!!

This looks hot!!

I hope the signal and battery life is improved. This just might be my next phone

Is there any idea of a release date?

Posted by: sonykq

Looks like it will be the first week of July once the stores exhaust their cu500s. The battery life is better than the cu500 and it supports hsdpa 3.6.

Hm. Very nice.

Is the camera still 1.3 mp?

Posted by: cingular#1

yup still 1.3

Posted by: myk03

Eh, shouldn't 2mp be default by now?

If they say it supports up to 2gigs, probably not, as anything past that is HC.

PhoneScoop says it supports up to 4gig.

see, this is where i get stuck again. does it work or not. and if it doesnt support up to 4gigs then would the 4 gig still work and read only as a 2 gig like some PC motherboards and harddrives do, or not work at all? what do i do? what do i do?

Where are you getting the card from? Hopefully where you get it from has a return policy. Or find out if you can find one to try out.

Maybe this should just be its own thread, get more exposure.
