Hey gang it's me again! a few questions for you....

They are offering the 8525 on LetsTalk.com for 299.99 (199.99 after rebates). I've been trying to just get the data plan with 1500 messages - I have no need for the voice plan as i only use a few minutes a month if that (not the type to gab away on the phone can't you tell?!) But it doesn't give me the option to remove the voice plan and keep the data plan on it. Is it possible or no go? I'm able to do it on the cingular (at&t...whatever) website but i noticed it is cheaper ordering on letstalk.

or if you guys have another website where i can order it from for around the same price... pricing isn't an issue really, please direct me to the site...

Also, if i order through either letstalk or from cingular/at&t, if i decide i don't want it within 30 days, how do i go about returning it? do i have to call and request a box or can i take it to a local cingular store (i'm thinking no on that but never hurts to ask) i highly doubt i'm going to return it though, i had the opportunity to play with the device in a store and i fell in love with it, but they didn't have any in stock and won't for three weeks according to the rep. thanks guys!

Are you currently an AT&T customer? If so they just dropped the price for a new one thru the AT&T site someone said to $249. If not, then you can get a refurb for $99 or a new one for free if you have access to a premium site. See the 2 threads in this forums for the $99 refurb and free new one for details. There are ways for current customers to get these deals I think. They are discussed in the 2 threads.

In order to get the deal on letstalk.com, you must have voice + data plan in order to get the rebates.

If you are a new customer or starting new service, you may want to try premier, hopefully you work for an employer that allows that. If you have gmail, just type yourusername@gmail.com. It should send you a link to order through premier. All you have to do is sign up for voice @ 39.99 + data unl @ 39.99, then when getting your equipment, change plan by calling customer care @ 866-MOBILITY.

Funny, I should have used this method as my att.com email does not give me the option for PDA MAX Unlimited (1500 msgs), but the gmail one does.
