any idea how to get the backed-up texts from my pc back onto my phone? the last time I flashed it I forgot to save my texts to my sim... I have all the texts showing in my "inbox" in mpt, but can't figure out how to get them back on my phone!

any help would be greatly appreciated!!

I think you do it in Motorola Phone Tools. Click on MMS button and from there you can send messages back and forth from PC to phone vice versa.

I tried it and all I could backup was the inbox, it gave me an xml file, but now I have no idea how to re-put them on my phone.

you can back them up as .txt files as well, but I still haven't figured out how to get them back on the phone as text messages. my notes save as .txt as well, so I have them in there, but not in my text message folder
