Text Messaging: Transport Error

I just got the silver i880. I upgraded from the i870. The i880 is definately better. Just one thing, I cant send a text message. I can receive them...it takes a while for them to download though. But, everytime I try to send a text, after about 5 minutes it says: Cannot Send Trasport Error. Can someone please help me.

You call Nextel CS and update your account?

I have the same problem. I can receive text messages but just can't send them. I've modified my CP and noticed that the secondary DNS address is different than others I've seen. When I try to modify this ip it doesn't allow me to.

Is this the real problem? please anyone?

Before calling CS I tried testing my chip in a friend's radio an it sent txt messages so I came back to my place, modified my CP and now it works fine. I configured it to work with mexico's nextel service.
