Is there a way that i can transfer text messages from my inbox from one phone (n93) to another (E61) so that all the messages i have ever received with my number are displayed in one folder?

you would probably be wise to transfer thru pc suite or something...

Try using pc suite to backup the old fone and restore to the new one.

Don't know if this will actually work cuz pc suite might only do restore to the same phone that sourced the backup....... but hey..... shouldn't take long to find out.

Of course it's risky..... it's PC Suite.

What's the worst that can happen? Reset and try again.

well losing everything will be the worst.

Lose how? You have the original fone and you have the backup data. One might arguably risk hosing the new fone, but if you don't have a sense of adventure, then what's the point?

Anyhow.... I backed up an E61i with PC Suite, then restored that backup to an N95 (contacts and messages)....... it worked just fine with one minor glitch.

I had synced my contacts to the N95 before restoring to it..... and I ended up with double contacts after the restore. But that was easy to fix.
