I ordered a refurb 8525 from premiere for $100 for my dad for fathers day and it just came!
It is much faster then my old 8125 I used to have! I forgot how it felt using this keyboard vs my new blackjack!
Do you have recommendations for software? He is not very tech-savvy but he has wanted a PDA.

How is the condition of the phone? I'm considering this since it's only $99, but I'm weary of the word 'refurb'

Do a search, the condition of Cingular refurbs has been discussed many, many times.

The refurbs are like brand spanking new.
No blemishes, no scratches, just like you would get in a brand new unit.
If there were any defects when someone returned the unit they usually replace the housing and repair anything that was wrong with it and do a Hard Reset before sending the unit out for resale.

Thank you! I apologize if I was beating a dead horse...I've had my share of bad experiences with 'refurbs', but it looks like AT&T delivers top-notch refurbs

Does anyone know how to play real player streams? (.ram). This will be over WiFi, not cell data as he doesn't want to pay for that.
