Slingmedia has areleased a new version of the SlingMobile for PALM BETA. It is also supposed to work (no guarantees) on the TREO 650 and the T/X. Check it out HERE

What's new in SlingPlayer Mobile for Palm OS BETA2?

Remote control commands for additional A/V devices are now available

Keyboard shortcuts have been revised

The default audio profile has been changed to Mono High instead of Stereo Low

The last channel icon has been revised to eliminate confusion with the “Play” icon

What's fixed in SlingPlayer Mobile for Palm OS BETA2?

An error message that incorrectly said “Invalid Slingbox password” is no longer displayed when device loses connection during Slingbox connection

SlingPlayer Mobile no longer stays on “Locating…” when the Slingbox ID network system is not available

SlingPlayer Mobile no longer causes the device to reset after registration is cancelled and the Home key has been pressed.

A Slingbox connection can now be initiated even if the port number for the Slingbox is not entered

SlingPlayer Mobile is now able to connect to a Slingbox if certain message screens are not closed within a few minutes

AV devices with no remote control functions, such as webcams, are now displayed properly as a video input

Display mode can now be changed while in Audio Only mode

Display mode no longer changes unexpectedly when changing Settings

Outdoor Life Network channel logo is used correctly instead of Versus

System Requirements

SlingPlayer Mobile for Palm OS BETA software

A Palm Treo 700p or 755p with 3G (EVDO) wireless service

1.2 MB free memory on device to install

A Slingbox with latest firmware (Note: Note: The latest version of SlingPlayer PC has a firmware version that meets this minimum requirement)

Remote viewing enabled

A Windows or Mac OS computer on a home network with latest version of SlingPlayer desktop application installed (for setting up remote viewing for Slingbox)

A high-speed (broadband) Internet connection of at least 256Kb upstream speed at home
