I've found the correct ROM version for the Tytn and connected it to the USB through ActiveSync. It walks me through the installation wizard. On my PC, a window pops up to verify the device. When it does so, the USB Connection drops from ActiveSync and this image shows on the Tytn:

An Error Msg pops up on my PC that says:
'PDA PHONE ROM UPDATE UTILITY - R:31200 D:51000 U:31102 P:0 EC:0X301 CB:'
On the Tytn, it has displayed:
HERM200 I PL-1.00
HERM200 SPL-1.11
Has anyone ran into this same issue??? Any suggestions???

Here's the info on the Tytn:
ROM version: 1.18.254.2
ROM Date: 7/22/06
Radio Version: 1.03.03.10
Protocol Version: 32.34.7010.01H
ExtROM Version: 1.18.254.9665
Where (& how) can I find the upgrade version of the boot loader??? How do I find out if it's super CID? How do I hard SPL the Tytn? I just got off of the phone w/ HTC America Tech Support & they said that the one I have (European Version) cannot be switched over to North American (US) language.
...if there's a will there's a way!
