BitPim won't even open

Hey there. I've used BitPim a lot before, but recently it hasn't been opening. After running the executable, I will see the splash screen which will stay there forever if I don't do anything. But if i click on it, it will disappear and nothing else will open up. However, the bitpim.exe process is still running under task manager. I've tried the most recent version, as well as a few older versions.

I tried searching these forums and BitPim's own help resources, but couldn't come up with anything.

1. uninstall bitpim
2. find bitpim settings directory, remove it
3. download new bitpim 1.0 from bitpim.org.
4. install new bitpim.
See if that works

3. download the last version you know that worked
4. install old version of bitpim.

Is the settings directory the one leftover in My Documents containing a cache file after the uninstall?

Hmm, well if it is that folder I tried deleting it numerous times. I installed a variety of different versions going as far back as 0.9.06 and nothing works. Is there any other software I could use?
