Background info: Recently purchased 700p, Datebk6 installed. No other datebook or alarm apps or hacks.

I have been using NVBackup to do a scheduled backup at 0200 each morning. I recently checked to the option to do a reset after each backup, hoping to make the phone a bit more stable. A side effect seems to be that the first alarm I have scheduled after the reset goes silent...

I have a repeating event each morning at 0600 to wake me up. The first day after setting NVBackup to reset the phone, I (luckily) woke up about 0620 and realized the alarm had not gone off. Glanced at the phone, and the alarm screen was displayed, but no alarms had sounded. I checked all the alarm settings, and everything seemed fine.

The next morning I woke to my alarm clock, and found that the Treo had not sounded. Deleted the appointment and recreated it. Still no sound the next day.

Last night I told NVBackup not to reboot the phone. This morning my alarm went off as requested.

Has anyone seen this behavior? Any ideas to fix it?
