Hi, I just received a new cingular 8525 and I'm trying to disable any data transfert using the cingular network. I still want to use the wifi at my home but I do not want it to ever user the cingular network for that as I don't have a dataplan.

I've looked around for an answer but I still haven't found how I'm supposed to do that.

start...settings...connections...manage connections...delete anything in there. If it doesn't have a connection it won't be able to connect to send data

I called cingular and told them to stop data - internet - text messages. They blocked that service immidiately. Very simple.
