just got my 8525 refurb from at&t boots up fine in every thing but, when i connect it to my vista x64 business pc it some times links up other times it does not. my real problem is trying to get opera on the device, tried the beta and trial versions they say they installed fine but they are no where on the device.

Also at&t is telling me i CAN'T get insurance on this phone does anyone know why? If it will ever be offered?

My answer is in regards to the insurance;
Currently, they (at&t) supposedly are not offering insurance of any kind on any pda's/smartphones. The salesman that I spoke with (at a corporate store) said that warranties on those phones are covered by the manufacturer only. He said Lock/Line type companies are also starting to stop coverage.

Just passing on the info that I was given when I asked the same question.
