Will P800 ever synch categories?

Has anyone logged a call with SE regarding the problem of categories not synchronizing at all?

I'm curious if this is scheduled to be fixed any time soon. It really is a major problem for anyone like myself who depends on categories heavily in the task list.

I really hope so. This was a major oversight on SE's part in my opinion.

I'm sure people send them email regarding concerns like this, but I'm thinking I may send one also. It cannot hurt to be heard so they know people really need this feature.

When you sync, does it actually erase the categories? Or simply not copy them to the P800? IOW is the data on your PC intact?

Doesn't erase categories but it never synchronizes the items to have the same categories on the P800 and the PC.

For example, if I have a task that is "Call Mike G about meeting" and the category is "@Office" when I synch, I will get the task on the P800 but it goes into the "unfiled" category.
