can i use a RAZR car charger to charge my cingular 8525? or will that damage something? its the same type of connector

Mine doesn't seem to charge as well, or as fast though.
I believe it has to do with the voltage output needed to charge the 8525 vs the razr.
I actually am using my moto BT charger as well so I at least have a charger in every vehicle.
