I have an issue with my 8525s clock..every time I go into the basement of my home where service is spotty @ 50 percent, the clock will change to seemingly random times. on my treo650 the clock would be updated by cingular all the time, and even if the clock changed, it would fix itself. however the treo never had this issue.

any suggestions? any settings to say 'auto update clock?'

Look in Phone>Settings... There should be a Time or clock tab on the bottom that lets you select auto time updates. With that said, enabling this allows activesync to run when the clock auto updates.
