OK, just had one dropped on my desk by the pres. Need to set it up for email from qmail for him. No manual was involved in the dropping of said curve on my desk. Need a site for configuring this thing.

Check out either cingular.com (don't know the new URL) or whatever main site Blackberry has. One of those should either have the info you need or tell you how to get said manual.

Does your pres have a BlackBerry data plan already? If not, you'll need to get that added to his account.
If it's on a BES, well, I can't help you. You may want to visit www.blackberryforums.com for more info on that.
If he's just going to use it on a personal BlackBerry Internet Services plan, then you can go to www.wireless.att.com/blackberrystart and get him set up with a new account on the BIS login page. You can set up forwarding a Gmail account from there. Very simple. Click on Set Up Account. Then you put in his e-mail address and password and within minutes it'll be pushing it out the to Curve.

Hope this helps.

Thats what I was looking for, needs to do the BIS account, figured it was something like that. He's got AT&T. Ticked me off he got it, I'M supposed to get the new toys first so I don't look like an idiot....

That's what HoFo is for ... to prevent you from looking like an idiot just in case someone else does get the new toy first.

If you're going to have to support his BB usage then I would suggest strongly visiting blackberryforums.com and pinstack.com as that's where the experts are ... good luck.

Glad I could help.
