how much for an 8525 Upgrade?

Hello all,

I won't be eligible for an upgrade until next month so I'm not seeing the upgrade prices. So I'm wondering what you all are paying to "upgrade" to the 8525.

Specifically upgrading through the ATT/Cingular site, not Amazon or other 3rd party sites.

Thanks
David

I just did an upgrade and got it for 99 dollars shipped.

Is that for a new one from Cingular.com? Sign me up!

I am anxoiusly awaiting being able to upgrade. Then I can cancel my service on my data card and tether the 8525 for Internet.

Thanks
David

I'm curious too, I logged into their webpage and it was $300 for an upgrade

This is probably referring to the refurbished 8525 that is available from the Deals & Packages link. It will be $99 if you buy at least $4.99 messaging plan (which you can cancel any time later)

I extended for an addt'l 2 years contract and paid $489 includ. tax for a NEW 8525.

I don't know if I should have paid less

u may want to see if you company is listed on AT&TM's premiere website, if they do you may qualifly for discounts on phones, and liberal upgrade privledges.

You GROSSLY overpayed.
Today(June 21st) is the last day to get a new line through Premier to get a free 8525. Yes, FREE 8525. Look through threads on this forum for more info.

I ended up only paying $16.30 for my new 8525... of course that was after some mistakes on a replacement phone and right when the Cingular/AT&T switch was happening

Is this only for a new line or can it be a new line on a family talk plan?
