Hey guys. i've read through the forums and i still can't find an answer to this question.

Basically, i'm trying to organise my contacts, tasks and notes for my Samsung Blackjack, is there any software i could use, paid or unpaid except Microsoft Outlook. I'm looking for something i could install on my xp laptop which could sync up with by blackjack. Using Outlook is such a pain for me since i use gmail online.

That should work with the version of Outlook that comes free with the Blackjack.

thanks for the reply. maybe i didn't state my issue clearly though.

like i'm not trying to use an email software like outlook or anything similar. i get my gmail pushed to my phone through mail2web. I'm basically looking for a software that i could use to edit contacts, notes and tasks for my blackjack that would be installed on my pc and all i have to do is to sync it up. I know you could do this through outlook but does anyone know any similar software. I don't mind payinig for it, i just don't want to use outlook.

Not to risk stating the obvious, you can edit your contacts through mail2web.com, it really handles everything. Thats what I do myself.

thanks for that suggestion. i have already tried that but i didn't really like the fact i had to be online to edit my calendar.

does anyone know of any desktop software that i could use to edit the blackjack's calendar, task, contacts that is not outlook??

it is simple....

not outlook and doesn't require a web connection?

doesn't exist...just install outlook.

You could try using a combination of Thunderbird and either Lightning or Sunbird (for the calendar) and then use BirdieSync to sync via ActiveSync. I've not tried that particular combination, since Outlook works for me, but supposedly it will work.
