I have a Pantech C3 that I no longer need and want to sell it on eBay. There is a card under the battery that has a lot of personal info stored on it. How do I erase that data so I can sell the phone with a usable card?

If its the SIM card, remove the card and sell only the phone.

OK, that is simplistic, but true. If you already have Cingular (AT&T) service, then you would use your old card. However, if you wanted to start a service with Cingular (AT&T), then they will provide a card to you. But I have no need for the old SIM card, so how do I dispose of it? No, I know I can just throw it into the incinerator, but the card id still useful, isn't it?
