Samsung U600 vs K810i

Can anyone give me opinions onthese phnes please.

I have a N80 at the mo, but its upgrade time and I dont really use all the functions, and its so damn heavy and bulky!!

I would have loved the N95 but its too expensive.

Is the camera in the U600 as good as the K810i? I know the SE has a better flash does this make that mucg difference?

any help please gonna upgrade this week

or any other phones out there that are good? I dont use internet or 3G, like camera for pics etc though

the xenon flash makes a huge diff. i'd go with k810...but then again i'm biased.

what about the extras the U600 hs to make up for it? better/bigger screen, document viewer, better video etc.

Is ll this worth it over the K810?

hmmm...do you live in NA? cuz i just remembered U600 is quadband (same reception as ur n80)...i guess its what you use it for. if you use all the extra stuff U600 has to offer then go for it

The camera ui of the u600 is ridiculous though. You can't save pics directly to the memory card meaning after a certain number of pictures you're going to have to rename them and send them to the memory card to avoid duplicate names and to clear up space.

You can indeed save them direct to memory card, theres a few posts on the net about it, its not obvious but it is in the settings somewhere

Im from UK, I never really use the phone abroad so not bothered on quad band etc, only when I go away and I bothered on a family holiday, this is not a buying descion for me.

Battery life is much better on K810? I heard you can get a bigger battery for the U600 that improves it a lot.

how many mAh in the bigger battery? the one they give you in package is pretty crappy...690mAh...

Its 1000mAh and apparantly gives about a 30% increase in life.

Did you see the pics fromthe link, I have to say that he K800 pics are worse than the U600 on that thread do you agree?

yeah i have to say the pics are much better than the pics i've seen from the d900

yeah 1000mAh will definitely be alot stronger than the battery provided...i say go for it then

Did you used to have/or messed with a D900 is that what you were comparing the pics frm the K800/K810 with?

So what your saying is that you think the U600 now has better pics than the D900 and probably as good as the K810 (apart form low light/night shots) then

Lookig at he U600 pics now, and if you had to buy a phone would you go for the U600 or the K810?

nah i'd still get k810, just cuz i never really got into the samsungs i used to have...and i just really like SE UI i used to have d500 and d800

Put that aside a mo if you can and think about the U600 though please, surely it is better? if the cam is as good as the K810 (apart from low light whereby K810 will win always) then the U600 has a better feature set - no?

lol i'm more of a sharp nut but i like SE a lot as well
i just like how u can personalize your phone way more with SE...but samsung you can't really...

well today went out and didnt get either, am edging now towards the K810 as tried my brothers U600 doc viewer was good but will I really need it?

why oh why is the video in the K810 so rubbish for recording though?

What is video watching like on the K810? like a clip downloaded or converted and played on it?

can you play it landscape full screen?

yeah i donno why recording quality sucks...k860 will have awesome recording tho...QVGA @ 30fps...but for k810 u can convert vids and put em on ur phone, i have some 3gp MVs on mine...pretty good, not as good as my 903 but still dam good
