8125 Stuck at RGB screen and reads "IPL 2.25 & SPL 2.25" on boot

I put in a claim to send my phone away for warranty exchange. However, not being too keen on cingulars, "If your phone is physically damaged, we charge you $350 and don't send you your old one" policy, I took a peek inside to make sure none of the shields were dented. Before you say, "What on Earth possessed you to open your phone?!" I have a great deal of experience repairing cell phones. I ran a service center for 3 years.
Unfortunately, I'm stumped on this matter, and google search seems to be turning up very little results. Does anyone have any ideas? Thanks.
