So, I'm using Ubuntu (7.0.4) and I'm wondering what programs are an option to sync with?

I don't know of anything specific to Ubuntu, but I use jpilot (http://www.jpilot.org/) under Fedora Core 6.

Thanks. It didn't have to be Ubuntu specific... lol I just thought I'd throw out what distro I was using. I actually tried to install Fedora 7, but I turned out to have some bad media, and all I had laying around was this Ubuntu disc.

IIRC, Ubuntu should already have Palm software in it. I think it's Gnome-Pilot. That's what I'm using in Gentoo. Switched from Ubuntu 6.06, btw.

jpilot is for KDE, no?

jpilot is not specific to a particular desktop manager.

I've used gnome-pilot (and evolution) in the past and my experience was that, although it had some very nice features, it was a bit more finicky about connectivity (e.g., the background daemon, gpilotd, had to be restarted frequently). Others have been quite happy with it, and perhaps it has improved recently.
