Dude, this is technology. And someone is always building something smaller, faster, more powerful, for the same price or even less. The half-life of any technology is no more than 6 months. So, you love your 8525? Well, what if someone built the same phone, but smaller/lighter by about 20%, doubled the memory, and threw in built-in GPS for the heck of it? Oh and charged about the same, maybe only a little more than when the 8525 first came out? The Kaiser or HTCP4550 or AT&T 8925 is just that. And its pretty much already here. As a matter of fact, AT&T has gone to the HTC guys and asked them to hold the phone back cuz they want to sell more 8525s before it comes out. So, the technology train is moving faster than the sales train in this case. |

Yea but it doesn't do core things that would make it worth it... I.e. like 4 gig microSD no... bigger screen no... camera with optical zoom NO... Camera with real flash NO... I mean I feel you in saying it is an improvement... But until they have a bigger capacity microSD... A much faster processor... A camera with a freaking optical zoom... Although the 8525 takes awesome pics in the light and if you walk in and out to zoom it... At night it is worthless and by far a optical zoom lenses has been LONG OVERDUE>>> I think the n95 has optical zoom doesn't it? |
