Removing the Cingular splash sceen

I have a E62 and would like to remove the startup and shut down graphics I have. I read somewhere that I need to remove a Opslogo file in the C:/system/apps/ folder. However I've tried several file explorers and none allow me to see into that folder. Has anyone done it and if so how? I also would like to remove the cingular firmware but NSU does not support the E62
