Hello everyone,

After receiving some questions about where to get some software for SE phones (the program links will most likely work for the P800 as well), I did a little more searching and remembered the Unofficial Sony Ericsson Club's software section. They have software for Windows, Mac OS versions and Linux.

If you wish to use any of the programs on the Windows section, you have to install the Mobile Phone Monitor first so that the computer will know how you are connected between the phone & the computer (cable, IR or Bluetooth).

i have tried the mms studio and the image editor both did not work with the p800

Sorry to hear that ducsurfer

, did you download the Mobile Phone Monitor before trying to run the Image Editor/MMS Studio? The other programs cannot run without the Mobile Phone Monitor installed first since this program tells the computer how the phone is connecting to the computer

. Give that a try, otherwise it could well be that some of the programs are only designed for certain SE phone series. According to the site, you should be able to run these programs with a P800 since under each program, the compatible phones are listed.

i actually checked the website before downloading them even teh official website

but with mms studio the p800 is not mentioned and of course pc suits is in stalled on my computer before i did download that program i sync the phone with the computer but the software (mms) did not recognize the p800

i ll try tonight again but i do not think that mms studio seems to be only for the t300

Ok ducsurfer, there might be a different program for the P800 all together then. I am surprised that the Unofficial Sony Ericsson Club lists the P800 as working with the MMS Home Studio. Unfortunately, I don't have the P800 myself so I can't test it out on that model.
