Way Cooooooooool....

Mini VS. iPhone >> CLICK HERE <<

Demo >> CLICK HERE <<

It's slower but heh, it's beta...

Knock yourself out.

JAD

JAR

EDIT: If these files come off the server called anything other than "mini.jar" and "mini.jad", rename them.
They may have a number prefix, so remove that prefix (pro'lly a "2") if you have any problems installing.

A little slow, but i like the virtual mouse.

On my i930 it doesnt seem to let me check some boxes like the say logged in box on hofo

but otherwise its really cool

Real herky jerky on my i880.
I'm sure the official release will be better.

can we download files with mini 4

Posted by: nault31

Works nice on my i870. I went to settings and turned off visual effects and things run more smoothly. I have a couple problems with page loading errors but I assume thats part of it being beta. Very intuative once you learn the keys and works great.

when i use it it tends 2 log me off things when im in the middle of doing something...ie..myspace= when posting comments/viewing comments etc..facebook= doing stuff with applications/posts etc... but overall i guess its a pass 4 me..at least its a beta.

Yes, I have experienced the same problems with myspace. I sent in my own review of the problems back to Opera so I hope they develop solutions into the next release. I'm very happy with the results already considering I'm using an iden phone, and it seems to be getting better.

If you have the memory on your phone, it's worth the download but I still have Opera mini 3 when I have problems

Yes does this cost money, I have a boost pre paid (20 dollar boost card a month lol)
Is this free or will it take money off my account?

Wont work at all on my 902. I downloaded directly off the WAP site though. EIther way, the area where the page is supposed to be is permamnently blank. Weird.

Doesnt let me stay logged on very long.. I get the time out issue about everytime I try and do something

Any idea if that will be fixed when its released?

According to the forums on their web site they are having problems with the cookies - specifically, not properly associating the cookies with the right client - meaning that someone else may end up using your cookies. Their temporary solution is to have very-short-lived cookies.

I've gone back to Opera Mini 3 for anything that requires a login.

^ I did the same thing over the weekend and will pry just keep using opera mini3 until the final version 4 is released

Beta works pretty good (it is a beta after all) on my Rizr Z3, can't wait for the official version to come out.

I have been trying to convert my PIE list of favs over to Opera Mini bookmarks for quite some time. I've consulted the Opera forums, several freeware programs, and a few friends who've tried to help me out. I've had no success in this endeavor. The problem I'm having is as follows... regardless of using Opera MINI ===OR=== Opera MOBILE...

After importing the converted favs using Opera's Bookmark Exporter, I get a file named i930Favorites.adr...

I convert the filename to opera6.adr by doing a simple rename...

I open the program and find NOTHING worked.

It sucks to make a gigantic list of favorites and then have no ability to export them from one browser to another. It almost seems as if you have to type EVERY URL you intend to bookmark into the phone's keypad to accomplish anything. Does ANYONE in here have anything to share that might help a brother out??? I've been working this problem now for the past 2 months while letting the list of favs settle unless someone has a special request to add in. It's really taking away time I'd rather be devoting to making a list of favorites for Opera Mini/Mobile that are not WAPy, specifically for mobile, or Skweezed down.

Thanks.

The simplest way (but tedious) is to use the web...

Export your bookmarks to HTML... Publish the page. Browse to the page with Opera. Then click and save 1 by 1.

Thanks for the advice... it would work that way.

I'm just dragging my feet on if it's worth the efforts?!?

I was hoping someone knew of something quicker and less tedious. The whole point behind the i930 Favorites List was that it was an easy hack to do. I just don't think I could support the page with my bandwidth allotment as people would then start using it for a makeshift web portal. I was hoping to get an extracted file in the proper format and just dump it into the proper folder. Guess this isn't going to be that easy.
