8525 Camera Problem

Has anyone had any problems with their camera on the AT&T 8525? When starting up the camera, the screen went dark and gave an error message about the camera not intializing or something like that. Now I cant get it to come up at all. Everything else with the phone/pda works fine. Would updateing the rom fix this or is this possibly a hardware problem?

This problem just happened to me also, just last night. I did a soft reset and a master reset. No luck here...

I just re-installed the new ROM from HTC website. Now I don't even have the camera icon in my Programs folder anymore. Now when I hit the camera button, it brings up pictures and videos viewer. Apparently HTC isn't telling me anything either. So I called AT&T and they made a note on my account to just take the phone back to a store and swap it out for another one.

If anyone does have fix, I would like to know, out of curiosity.

I had my phone for 20 days. And then it crapped out on me. I went to the AT&T store on Friday. They couldn't do anything other than exchange it.
