Youtube now finally working on Blackjack 6-20-07

Since the release of m.youtube.com, I have not been able to view videos from the site as most folks have noticed. We get an error when Win Med player trys to locate the video.

Well I decided to give it a try again today, and low and behold IT WORKS NOW. Even plays pretty decent on Edge.

I still get "An unknown error 0x80004005 has occured". Will these files open with core player?

no or at least not yet..

I say not yet .. cause this morning they didnt open with my black jack. and the poster says now they do.. i dont have mine with me to retry,,

not working as of now on the 8125 or 8525..

edit again..

works on my lg cu500

Same here, both with opera mobile and ie.

It is still NOT working on my Mobile 5 Blackjack. Just a guess but did someone recently change the type of mushrooms on their pizza?

Ok. I have played about 5 videos already on my blackjack from m.youtube.com. Takes a minute for the blackjack to locate the file using edge. But it does work. Aldo, I am running wm6.

Oh well WM6, that's probably why. I Guess it does something differently with videoes than WM5

That has to do with it, b/c some guys with cooked WM6 ROMs using 8525s are watching youtube as well

well I just finished installing a cooked wm6 ROM on my 8525 & the first thing I did was to go to you tube. The videos work
for me.

no. the only thing was when I installed the cingular app cab(which contains mobitv,cellular video,etc) I had to associate the file to the streaming media player found in wm6, if not real player would try to play the 3g file & then it would not play correctly. so if you don't install the cingular app .cab file you're good to go,if you do you need to tweak the file association a bit like I did

How do you associate different players with different files, like streaming with tcmp?
