I know itll be hard to get a honest answer but can anyone of you reps tell me if there's a way to get the blackjack for 74.99 or wuteva the current promotion price is without having to or committing to the 39.99 pda data plan every month??? is this feature required in order for you to get the rebate ?? thank you

According to what is exactly spelled out on the rebate form. To get the rebate "Requires acto on a PDA Personal Plan or a $39.99 or higher unl data plan or a $19.99 Messaging Xtreme Plan plus am ATT voice plan $39.99 or higher"

If you go to a corporate store they will sell it to you without the rebate. You need to find an authorized agent that would sell you the BlackJack at that price if you at least add a $20 feature like unlimited text or smartphone connect.

If you don't wanna add anything, maybe go to a corporate store, buy it, get the $39.99 internet package and take it off online. Don't know if it'll work, but you will get the rebate. I've seen customers get rebates for PDAs without any data packages added.

so when the current promotion ends the only thing that stop is the mail in rebate right? so either way the phone will be the same 175 this month and next month if you dont add the data plan right?
