Sync address book and theme questions!

I did a search, but couldn't quite find what I was looking for. Hoping someone here can help me out:

1) Is there a way to delete the preinstalled entries in the SYNC address book, such as the check minutes and pay bill entries?

2) Is there a way (couldn't seem to find it, could have missed it though) to change the phone's color scheme? The black and orange is a little dark.

Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks!
