SYNC is fried

Long story short, SYNC barely had some moisture in it and it fried. The "water damage" indicator didnt not have anything on it. I had the phone off, in a zip lock bag, flipped my canoe on some rough rapids, kept the bag afloat....still crapped out on me. I also lost a fishing rod and reel retailed over $200

Well, I am looking to buy another A707 and wanted to know if anyone found a brand new one cheaper than $198.76.

If so let me know, thanks guys.

See if you can get an A717, that's what I just got to replace my A707 Sync and it's far superior in every way.

I have a used A707 that I might be willing to give up for less than $198.76. PM me if interested.

Not to rub salt in the wound, but when you replace your phone also spend $12-$50 for one of these before you hit the rapids again. They work great.

Yeah, this was a trial run for the river. We are planning on making it an annual trip. I dont even get service anywhere out there anyways so there is no need to even take the phone on the river. I did look at one of those at Academy, lets just say we know exactly what to take this time.

We had to take all of camping gear since we did a 2 day float, we had to do the 2 day since the water level was up and did not have access to the starting point for the 1 day float.
