What's the best camera phone currently available in the US. I'm probably be using T-Mobile. I was looking at the N95 but wanted to know if there's anything better. Thanks.

The N95, N73 and SE K800/K790a are the best mass market camera phones available. There are niche phones like the I-Mobile 902, xCute DV2, LG KG920 and Sharp 903 that can either match or in many cases exceed the camera quality of the N95, N73 and K800i. Unfortunately, you'll have to sacrifice something in order to get the better camera whether it be quality, speed or price.

Depends upon the definition of 'best".
My definition is a handheld Canon, Nikon or Olympus camera beats a cell camera any day and twice on Sunday!

I'd go with K800/810/790 only because of the Xenon flash. N95 sadly lacks it.

Braindead, Do you know where I-Mobile 902 or xCute DV2 is sold in the US and if they can be used with T-mobile? Thanks

I'm currently with cingular and am planning to switch to Tmobile. I've never purchased an unlocked phone, so I'm sim card illiterate. If I purchase the n95, I was going to use a seller that also sets up the tmobile acct/sim card. If I use ebay and purchase one of these other phones, does anyone know how I'd get a sim card from tmobile (since I currently have cingular) and if it's easy (and instructions somewhere) to install and set it up. I'm assuming this is an obvious question to everyone with an unlocked phone. Thanks. From a clueless sim guy, but my 1st purchase on ebay was a car 1000 miles away from my home.

Buy the N95
Order (or go to the store) and get a service plan with whatever free phone they are offering
Keep the free phone as a backup or sell it
Put the sim card in the N95
and that's it. Voice and sms will be working fine without you doing anything. You need to use a settings configurator to set up internet (there's a link in the sticky in the TMo forum

N95 has a few extra features, but for the money you can't go wrong with the N73 as far as picture quality.
