hey guys, anyone here with a bb have to do any updates on the phones? im out of the loop but im having web issues lately and i cant seem to find a concret answer. I went on support on att site and they said theres an update for the phones, has anyone done it and whats been the changes??

A software update most likely is not going to fix your web issues. You can try resending your service books for starters.

I don't believe there have been any updates released by at&t for the 8800. There is an updated version of the handheld software that was released by Rogers, but, i believe it to be buggy.

Best thing to try is a hard reset. (battery pull) If that doesn't work, go to options-advanced options-host routing table, menu-click on the top entry and select register now. If that doesn't fix it, call at&t.
