I have a moto razr v3c on aliant/bell mobility. I've been trying various IM's for using msn on it and recently heard of the new eBuddy mobile beta, so I thought I'd give it a try. Unfortunately the GUI doesn't seem to match up with the keypad on my phone, I was wondering if anyone with the same phone has gotten it running ok on their phones. And yes, I'm using the .jar that's supposed to be for the V3.
-Thanks

Using the .jar from the V3 is your problem...they keypad on the V3 is setup different than the V3c. I use ebuddy mobile's wap iterface on my V3c and it works pretty well. Ebuddy Mobile

Thanks for the reply.
Ok, so in order for the mobile beta java version of eBuddy to work I have to wait for a release for the V3c instead as I understand it? I have mainly used the wap interface as you said in the past, but I like the idea of an actual java app better, would be faster I'd imagine, plus this one had tabs and all making it easy to go between convos and not the cumbersome following of links on a wap site from one convo to the next.

Yeah I think so. I don't know if you would be able to find a V3c specific .jar for ebuddy, because most V3c phones are Brew, not java (I think only two out of about 6 providers that have the V3c use java). Bell must use java, correct? If they do, someone may have a V3c specific ebuddy jar, but it would probably be hard to find.
