Phones around CDN $200-$300 price range

Does anybody know a good phone to get around that price range?
I recently bought a samsung 707sc but the volume is so low even when i set it up high and i cant hear it when someone calls me. Im selling that phone and looking for a new one around that price range
The thing I look for from top priority
1) Design. (Which is why I bought the 707sc)
2) Volume (Which is why Im dumping 707sc LOL)
3) Functionability (Im looking for basic functions. I dont really need advanced crap)
any recommendation are welcomed
