Refurbed BB 8700c off of Premier - Worthwhile buy?

I've been looking for another Blackberry to purchase as a backup to my Pearl when someone offered to purchase something for me through their Premier account. After checking out the prices online, it seems that a refurbed 8700c is probably the best bang of the buck in regards to purchasing something as a backup. But I haven't had any experience with refurbed units from at&t nor where there many threads that I could find through the search feature discussing 8700s.
Has anyone here purchased a refurbed 8700c through Premier and how were the units when you received it?
