I searched and could not find an answer. Is it possible to toggle the push email on or off without having to change the settigns on my Blackjack? On my Dash I could turn it off and on through the communications manager. How do you all do it? Thanks!

i just change my gprs setting to wap.cingularx and change it back when i need gprs...

I was really thinking of a one click solution. Sort of like the way you can toggle bluetooth on and off. The dash has this. Is this built in somewhere and I missed it or is there a 3rd party application? Thanks!

Looks like DASH has its own Communication Manager built by HTC. There is no such equivelent on BlackJack.

What I do is make use of Peak/Off Peak time settings to automatically turn on/off push email for me. I have push email on from 8AM to 8 PM Mon to Fri. Rest of the time, the phone operates on maunal email check mode. Works greate and I don't really miss the toggle button I used to have with my 8125.

I use peak times too, but it is annoying when I am at my desk computer and the phone is chiming away on emails. Because I am frequently in and out off the office and travel there is no peak time for being at my desk. Thanks!
