Katana side buttons ...!?

I just got the Katana....so far its good...but...
I was just wondering if there is any way to deactivate the side buttons. What I would like to do is disable the side arrow buttons to answer a call via the speaker phone and I would like to disable the camera button so that it doesn't put the call on hold.
if this is possible PLEASE let me know
