12planet - what gives?

Cool application, but I'm baffled:

1. how do I know if someone is communicating to me (or attempting to), there's no beeping, no lights, nothing!

2. If a new room is filled with someone wanting to talk to me, there's no way to tell. The room does not get highlighted as "in-use" and again, there's no alert.

3. Is there a pro version? What's the difference between the lite and pro version? The startup screen points to their website, but there's no reference to anything similar there...

Use, tipicme.. man.. the programm uses tons of KB

12 planet runs right away without a problem.

You do have to register with Tipic but it takes seconds - well worth it I think.

12Planet looks nicer (almost exactly like MSN messenger on the PC) but Tipic seems so much more complete and I agree with Webwatcher - there's noticably less traffic with Tipic, which can only be good with the cost of GPRS !

And with 12Planet what's the point of a messaging program which doesn't notify you when you've got a message ?
