Does your Blackjack screen stay on while charging?

If I turn my phone off and charge it, The screen stays on and lights up the room at night. Is there any way to change this? Does this happen with all Blackjacks?

mine does that too - it is the charging icon on the screen.

Don't think that there is anyway to turn it off, but I've got a few of suggestions.

1 - turn the phone over so that the screen is facing down
2 - cover the screen with something
3 - use the included external charger
4 - leave the phone on, the screen will stay blank

Or turn it face down.

if you dont want to receive any calls put the phone in airplane mode or shut the wireless off, and charge it that way so the screen shuts off, or do the other suggestions
