AIM via SMS since AT&T Switch...GONE??

I can't log into AIM via SMS anymore using 265000...says:
"This is an invalid number for AIM commands"
Is this service really gone? have they changed it? If it's gone.....dangit

An update: I've had 4 friends with AT&T try this...and it works for them.
WHY the heck won't my phone do it? As a bonus, i've tried it on my mother's phone (same family plan)...no go for her...but the four other friends can do it. What gives?!!?
