I've done a few searches and for some reason nothing is coming up about this. Has anyone had any difficulties using the new Opera Mini Beta on the Pearl? Mine install fines and then opens and wants to do 9 different tests to determine my connection properties. Then it zooms thru all of the tests and tells me it cannot locate the internet (I'm on a BIS) so that's not right. Any ideas?

Unfortunately the fault probably lies with your company's IT department. I dealt with the same thing on my Pearl. Downloaded a couple of items and they worked great until I set up my work email which is through the Blackberry Enterprise Server. It allows your company to restrict certain things, mine would not allow any of my 3rd party applications to connect to the internet.

What OS are you running? OM Beta's website says that there's a bug and it doesnt work with every Pearl OS

I'm on a BIS. There's no way I could have an IT problem.

I've found the answer, it was as simple as putting the right APN in under the TCP options. Everything working great now.
