Transferring camera phone pictures.

Is there any way to transfer the camera phone pictures to a computer?
I can't get it to work through bitpim even with the phone in DM.
Is there a special way to do this or would I have to email it to myself (I don't have net one the phone).
I couldn't find much on a search, but I may have overlooked it.

if you have a microsd card (2 gig currently $22 shipped or 1 gig currently $12.70 shipped )
you could use that and a microsd card reader ($3.32 shipped or 1 gig card and usb sd 3 in 1 reader currently 15.50 shipped )

in the phone menu move the pics to the card and then use the card reader to get them on the computer

if you do not have a cable the card/card reader works and it seems like it takes about the same time. i have a 1 gig kingston and the $3.32 reader and it works just fine. if you use it to put music on you need to know that it will not recognize songs which are over 30 characters in the song title.

if you have verizon try pix place, its free. Its not the greatest thing in the world but it will work to get pics to your pc.

I bought a USB cable for my 8300. It came with a link for the software. I can't figure out how to use the cable to transfer pictures. Help? Using Windows XP. TIA
