Blackberry Connect on 8525 (BES)

The old thread for 8525 BBConnect didn't provide answers. But I'm trying to get BBConnect to work on my 8525 for BES for my work email. I switched from MediaMax to the BBUnlimited data plan. I installed the BBConnect software on my phone. I installed the BB Desktop for WM software on my PC.

When I run the BBConnect software, I see it is trying to connect to the Blackberry.net APN. It actually connects, says I get connected, Data Tunnel Available, assigns an IP address, then disconnects. It shows the IMEI, but I don't have a PIN (it says Pending).

What am I missing here? I shouldn't have to connect to the Desktop software from what I can tell. Even so, if I try that, it won't communicate with my phone since saying "Can't connect Pin 0 returned" or something like that.

Anyone else get this working? AT&T Tech support doesnt help cuz they don't recognize BBConnect on 8525 as a supported platform. Do I have the right plan? Any ideas why it won't stay connected? Should I get a pin immediately when it connects?

This is driving me nuts, since I know others have been able to get this working.

Thanks in advance for any help...

For bes doesn't your IT department need to provision your device?

I know for bis I was able to use bb connect on the 8525 (although it didn't work too well).
