Razr V3xx vs N75 dl speed & ui

I'm surprised I'm not seeing more posts comparing the 2 of these phones. What I did see has been helpful, but there seems to be a split between those who have used both.

My questions are about download speed and the UI.

I've exclusively owned Moto phones over the last 10 years and currently have Razr V3. I like it for phone and text, but not for extras like the calendar. I installed Opera when I first got it and found browsing with that was better than Cingular's browser.

Last night I stopped in a store and played with the N75 and V3xx. Either will take some getting used to, so my questions are:

1. For those that have used both which UI do you like better and why? I'm especially interested to hear about browsing the web and calendar.

2. For those that own one, what do you like and dislike about the UI?

3. How much of a difference is there between the speed of the N75's UMTS and V3xx's HSDPA

Thanks in advance to any and all who reply.

The V3xx definately has faster download speeds and response times from the browser. When I am in a 3G area the difference is VERY noticable.

The N75 probably has a better built-in browswer as its more like a standard PC based browser, but the slow speeds make it less enjoyable than it should be.

While the N75's UI is more advanced and allows for multitasking, etc. The V3xx is much easier to use. Both UI's are probably dated compared to the look and feel of some other UI's such as Sony Ericcson.

Thanks Baldilocks.

That much of a difference, eh? In the store I had the 3G icon on both phones. I looked at m.youtube.com on both phones. I picked a 4.5 minute video to view and felt the speed was okay on the N75, but better on the Razr. I was curious as to how other browsing would be (i.e. googlemaps, email)

Is there a similar Sony Ericcson (my cousin in Sweden is developer for them so I would feel family-loyalty by switching brands)?

Think the new Razr will be worth the wait?

I assume you can still install Opera on the V3xx, is that correct?

I'm stil hoping to hear more about the N75 - especially when I read about the apps available.

There are tons of applications available for the N75. I like my N75, but the sluggish UI gets annoying and i usually end up putting it down and using the V3xx.
