So How do I fix this issue? When I got the phone it was branded sprint with a cricket firmware. Had cricket clicks and all. So I put Telus firmware on it so I could run Java games. That worked great except I'm missing the sparks button graphic. My settings were saved and my phone and text works fine. But the wireless web and download options do not work. And MMS sits at 0% and never sends. I tried to put in a bunch of settings like in other posts for the 265 into PST using version 7.2.5 but nothing seems to be working. I didn't edit any of the settings on the phone menu itself because I don't have my security code. The sublot is all 0's though. Anyone? TIA.

Don't think I can help but I had a similar situation with a verizon razr maxx which could not connect to the web because of software put on it from another carrier that had to be removed before those functions could be opened up. Doesn't seem possible since you flashed with Telus but worth a shot if you only upgraded software and didn't flash.

On a separate note, I tried to flash a Sprint KRZR K1M with Alltel software and looks like the software was not loaded completely - no menus and only some indicators show up when the phone starts up plus the phone doesn't work. Now when I try to flash it, the program errors out saying "unable to suspend the phone". Any direction you can point me to? Also, can you tell me what program you used for flashing? I used a program called MultiFlash Flex Tool version 1.8.

Its been so long since I did this. I flash with the same tool everyone else uses. its a program you have to pay for, and yeah, its multi flex something.

The reason it doesn't work with Telus is because its just not compatible for some reason. Telus is a java firmware or something and cricket uses brew so its not possible or something. I flashed back to crickets fw and it works fine now. Make sure when you flash, you use monsterpacks or you risk bricking your phone.

I kept searching these forums and found the info I needed to flash the phone again (bootloader mode) and you're right - it looks like the Alltel monster flash will only work after the phone has been flashed with a Verizon monster. Maybe the alltel monster doesn't get all of the sprint software out. Once I flashed first with Verizon and then flashed with alltel, it worked.

Thanks to everyone who posts on these sites!

It might not have been leaked... see item # 31 & 32 on -> http://mark.cdmaforums.com/FAQ.htm

a pretty complete list of leaked firmwares -> http://bushe102.googlepages.com/Moto_flash.htm

Mark, if you mean to say that there was no leaked Telus firware for the K1m, then you are incorrect. I've spoken in depth with Phx_cricket about the situation and can tell you that I had java games working fine with the telus firware on the K1M. The reason I switched back because I wanted the cricket internet which wouldn't work with the java firmware, nor would cricket clicks.
